Sometimes in life, opportunity just simply presents itself. It is up to us to reach out and grab it.
Although it was in 1966 that Robert Heinlein popularized the phrase “There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.”, it has been a cultural concept as long as cynicism has existed. We ask, what is it in our world view that conditions us to believe that you can’t get something for nothing? Sometimes you get something just because you get something, and that’s a-ok.
Please Take My Card prides itself on creating and generating opportunities and helping our members spend less time to find opportunities, and more time on the opportunity itself.
Enhanced Networking is an opportunity to seek joint ventures, referral partners and even clients or friends – within a framework that allows our members to minimize non-productive time, to network on their schedule, not somebody else’s, and get right down to business.
The Enhanced Networking Last Minute Club is made up of people who are Small Business professionals, busy people, who have less time than they need, yet recognize the need to grow their business is important. More often than not, part of their referral strategy is to join networking internet sites to help gain introduction to other professionals, but at the end of the day, technology is only valuable to the degree that it serves people, so that you can get the most people time!
Enhanced Networking is an opportunity to meet other like-minded busy professionals in one-on-one networking meetings over breakfast or lunch. Some might call it a business blind date!
How does the Last Minute Club actually work?
Every day there are Enhanced Networking meetings going on in local restaurants during breakfast or lunch. At times we have the opportunity at late notice that we may have a seat available at a table for a meeting with one of the members, another small business professional like yourself.
Each day we send emails to the members of the Last Minute Club that list opportunities in your area to meet for breakfast or lunch at absolutely no cost whatsoever. The meeting may be in a week or in an hour from the time of the email, depending on the availability. The meetings are available on a first-come-first-serve basis to the Last Minute Club – kind of like a seat sale, but without the need to open your wallet! Last Minute Club Members may book a maximum of two meetings through the Last Minute Club area.
Our criteria is always that a) the two professionals meeting are not in the same industry and b) they have not met before as part of Enhanced Networking or the Last Minute Club.
It is up to you, as the Last Minute Club member, to respond to the email as quickly as possible to book the meeting. A confirmation will be sent to you should you be first on the list. Then all you have to do is show up!
What’s the catch?
We tried to think really hard about what we could put here, but the fact is, there isn’t one.
The meetings available through the Last Minute Club are absolutely free, there is no obligation to join anything or pay for something later, we’re not asking for your credit card, we don’t want you to sign anything in blood, or stone, for that matter.
So give it a try – you never know – the person you meet may very well be that gold mine of contacts and referrals you’ve been looking for. We hear about it all the time from our members – so why should it be different for you?!
